Where does Kangal's reputation come from?
In 1917, a shepherd who has scars in his leg treats himself in this water by coincidence. After the shepherd, the people around began to open primitive pools in the thermal area for their own treatment. During 50 years they excavated few of 10 metersquare pools. In 1979 another 5 floor hotel with 33 rooms was built. In these years this unique thermal Kangal Town visited in summers by holiday makers.
Today the establishment was rebuilded according to world standards serving to people suffering PSORIASIS during whole year. The founders found out that this holiday thermal actually can be used for treatment of PSORIASIS which is considered literality incurable illness in the world.
What are the
rules during the treatment period ?
Patients suffering Psoriasis must obey these rules during the treatment procedure.
1- The Patient has to drink spring
water minimum 3 times at the same time in the morning with empty stomach.
2- The patient having the spring water must have the breakfast (butter, regional
bread with white cereal, cheese, olives, tomatoes, green pepper, milk and tea, Nescafe,
yogurt, jam, ham, boiled egg is considered Turkish breakfast) before going to
the treatment pool.
3- The treatment starts for those who have a full stomach with the breakfast and
spring water. The mineral ingredien
ts of the spa and the fishes starts to show
the effect at the same time.
4- Selenium that is scientifically proved for the treatment of the skin diseases
is widely found in the spa, starts penetrating with the help of the doctor
fishes.
5- As a two episode in a day patient should remain 8 hours a day in the pool.
6- Alcohol is strictly prohibited during the treatment period
7- Patients must not use any of extra drug for Psoriasis during the treatment
time.
8- The whole period is 21 day and patients should obey the 8 hour limit per day
exactly.
9- Patients must go into the pool regularly without skipping any period.
10- Patients must bring their own slippers, towels and bath materials for the hygienic
reasons.
