Day 1 - Welcome to the cradle of civilasation.Upon arrival , we'll transfer you to the hotel located in the city center.Please just relax and join the briefing for the destinations and the tour. Overnight in İstanbul.
Day 2 - Today we'll visit the capital of empires.Historic peninsula , the Topkapi Palace the house of Ottoman Sultans with its rich treasury section Hagia Sophia one of the finest buildings of all times built by Emperor Justinian,striking gold based mosaics have been the focal point of Hagia Sophia.Hippodrome the scene of chariot races and civic center of Constantinapolis.Underground cistern of Justinian era with its 336 marble columns capable to cater 80.000 cubic metres of water at a time,featuring sound and light show.Blue Mosque famous with blue and white Iznik tiles was built between 1609-1616, having six minaret was departing point for pilgrims during Ottoman period.Next is charming Church of Chora, best mosaics of Byzantine period used to teach Bible to the people,transfer to Izmir which celebrated its 5th millennium on 2000 and very famous with the castle built by the Alexander the Great in 334 B.C.
Day 3 - Visit Pergamum, once was the treasury of Ephesus later dominated half of Asia Minor and found Attalia modern Antalya as its export harbour.They invented Carta Pergamen when Egyptians imposed papyrus embargo on them.The steepest theatre amazes the visitors the Emperor cult flourished during Roman Empire Period.The Asclepion was the most famous hospital of ancient times.In the book of revelation it was mentioned as the throne of satan.After lunch we'll proceed Thyatira, the church dedicated to St.John.It was blamed for believing and tolerating the woman jezebel.Ovenight in Izmir.
Day 4 - Today we'll visit largest ancient city of the world.Third Ecumenical Council was held in the Church of Mary (Double Church) which was the first church ever dedicated to Mary in the world.Ephesus was blamed by the God in the Book of Revelation for forgetting the first love.We'll also visit the last house of Mary in which she spent her last years peacefully.We also visit the Church of St.john whom the Book of Revelation was revealed when he was exile on the island Patmos.Departure for Pamukkale en route Laodicea church,the city was refferred by the God as being lukewarm and God says " I spit you out of my mouth " . Day 5 - Today we'll visit Colossae Church and we'll depart for Philadelphia Church given an open door by the God and nobody could shut.We'll visit the cute city center in Philadelphia.After lunch we'll pass to Sardis, once was the capital of the Lydian realm of Croesus,lying on the Pactolos River once the waters was very rich in gold.They are very famous for inventing the first coin in the world.We'll also visit the temple of Artemis the church and gymnasium and ancient synagogue.God blamed them for being distant from the church and said " I will come like a thief and you will never know ". Overnight in Izmir.
Day 6 - Ancient Symrna , has celebrated its 5th millennium in 2000.We'll visit ancient Smyrna, Agora (market place),Alexander's Castle, Ethnographical & Archaeological Museums, Time to explore the famous Grand Kemeralti Bazaar with many historical buildings such as mosques,synagogues and ancient shops at oriental district.Time to have a traditional Turkish coffee or your favourite apple tea in ancient Kizlaragasi Caravenserai in its historical atmosphere.
Day 7 - Here are some options for your last day in Izmir.
1-Transferring you to Adnan Menderes Airport for your connection flight.
2-Extending thetour to Patmos Island featuring the Grotto of Apocalypse and the Monastery of St.John
the Theologian.
